| 15 year anniversary today! |
Today is my 15th wedding anniversary. What was I thinking getting married on the 29th of December, anyway? What a horrible time of year. We're spent out and tired out from Christmas and never celebrate. Well this year, I decided we needed to do something special for our 15th. I believe that's pretty special. So my sister is taking the kids and we're heading out to a nice romantic dinner for two.
I asked my husband what 15 years represented (silver, gold, crystal, etc) and he assured me it was power tools.
Now for a little fun, here are ten top things NOT to say on your anniversary.
10. I stopped caring about anniversaries when you stopped caring about cooking.
9. Today is our what?
8. Okay, let's celebrate, but do we have to celebrate together?
7. I thought we only celebrated important events?
6. You can celebrate anniversaries with your next husband.
5. You don't like what I pick out, so I thought why bother.

| I've been tagged |
Vivi tagged me. So now I have to list 10 writing/reading secrets.
Here goes.
1. I enjoy writing M/M sex scenes.
2. Actually, I enjoy writing sex scenes.
3. I don't research my sex scene nor have I tried half of what I write about.
4. I read erotic romance, contemporaries, paranormals, historicals, and horror. I don't read inspirationals, or westerns.
5. My favourite genre to write is paranormal.
6. I like books with bad girls, I just have a hard time writing them. Maybe it's because I'm a good girl at heart. Okay Vivi, stop laughing.
7. What I read: I usually have 3-4 books going at any given time. I switch back and forth. I'm currently reading Hot Blooded, Houston We Have a Problem, Rock my World.
8. Sometimes I don't reading the endings.
9. I drink a lot of coffee while writing. I also stare out my window a lot.
10. My favourite book as of right now is Mind Games by Christine Feehan. That changes weekly.

| Feng Shui |
This week I'm taking an online Feng Shui course. This is fascinating stuff. This morning I spent 6 hours. Yes..that's right 6 hours just cleaning out my office. I threw tons of stuff away. I have 4 garbage bags and two recycle bags full. I wonder how I managed to have all that stuff in here in the first place. So now my room feels...lighter!
As I was going through old papers I found the very first manuscript I wrote 13 years ago. What a riot to read it! It was BAD!!! |
