More with Alecia |
Hi Alecia, you write about fairies and vampires. Do you plan to move into any other genre's or stay within paranormal?
I'm working on a story set in the Garden of Eden even as we speak, and possibly a mermaid story.I'm also interested in writing time travel and space travel romances. I can't see myself straying far from the paranormal subgenre, and I love erotic romance, so the type of stories I'm writing now seem to be a good fit. Never say never, though.
So what is your favorite genre to read? What are you reading right now?
I enjoy non-fiction a lot, and find that I get inspiration from reading about theology, mythology, history, women's studies, you name it. I also love romance and vampire stories, such as the Sookie Stackhouse books and the Anita Black series. Right now, I have two Harlequin Presents by Lucy Monroe, a favorite author, on my desk, and Fresh Lipstick, a book about the relationship between feminism and fashion. You could say I'm a varied reader. |

Alecia, I too am an animal lover, especially dogs. I dabble in crafts; not as much now since Mom passed away 2 1/2 yrs. ago. She loved crafting and was a natural. We girls would get together and do crafts with her once in awhile.
Are you an artist: paint or sketch, by any chance? If so, have you thought of ever doing a book cover for one of your books? Thanks.
