| Independent bookstores |
I live in a small community and we have a fair size independent bookstore here. I ran into the owner at the gym last night. She was so lovely. We got talking about covers etc and she said she probably wouldn't sell Pleasure Control because of the cover. I was a little bummed. She said she has to chose carefully and I respect that, but I'm hoping she'll clear a top shelf for me, where the kids and little old ladies can't reach. LOL
I started telling her about the Allure Authors and she said, Yes, I've heard of the Allure Authors..WOW...she said I just didn't realize you were one of them. I was thrilled that an independent book store in a small community heard of us!! |

Hi Cathryn, perhaps a review copy of your book when it becomes available would help her change her mind. It would be really cool if you could do a book signing there! Hugs, ML

Did you ask her if she was running a book store or a daycare? I can understand in a way but really that is so not right.
If she doesn't sell your books, her loss.
