At the wedding of friends and colleagues, divorced career woman, Erin Shay is introduced Kale Alexander. Fireworks erupt from the first encounter when Kale catches the garter and places it around Erin's thigh. Even though Erin swears she's only interested in casual sex, she can't stop thinking about Kale-nor can he stop thinking about her.
What could be a sizzling hot, casual affair is complicated by the fact that Kale and Erin are working together, and she's his boss on a very important research project called Pleasure Prolonged . As the name implies, Erin's research company is developing a drug that can increase and prolong sexual pleasure.
Unable to control their desire for one another, Erin and Kale get carried away in the research room at the lab and caught on tape by a jealous coworker. Kale,s already on probation with the company, and Erin can' risk getting caught in the act with a subordinate. With their careers in jeopardy, will their relationship stand a chance.
Pleasure Prolonged is an erotic feast. Fox masterfully creates sexual tension with just a glance or the slightest touch between her hot-for-each-other characters. This book is best read in close proximity to an air conditioner with the fan turned on high.
